This listing presents a distinctive vinyl pressing for fans of Weezer, featuring "The Gold One" edition from Blood Records. Known for their meticulous and often visually striking releases, Blood Records has produced this "Pearl Wave" vinyl, a limited run with a specific numbering, in this case, 650 out of 1000 copies. For collectors seeking unique pressings from one of alternative rock's most enduring bands, this item offers a particular appeal, merging musical heritage with exclusive physical media.
The "Pearl Wave" designation suggests a unique aesthetic for the vinyl itself, likely incorporating a marbled or iridescent quality that enhances its visual presentation beyond a standard pressing. With a condition noted as "New," this record arrives in pristine shape, ready for either display or its inaugural spin on a turntable. Weezer's catalog contains numerous beloved albums, and specific details regarding "The Gold One" – whether it's an album title, a compilation, or a special variant of a classic release – can be confirmed through the listing photos or by reaching out to the seller directly for specifics about the tracklist. The appeal of a limited run, especially one numbered like this, often means careful attention to mastering and pressing quality by the label, ensuring a premium audio experience.
The market for Weezer vinyl, particularly exclusive pressings from labels recognized for quality and unique editions, is consistently active among dedicated collectors. The limited production quantity, specified as 1000 copies worldwide with this being number 650, naturally contributes to its scarcity and desirability over time. For enthusiasts who appreciate the intersection of an iconic band's discography with distinctive, high-quality physical releases, the stated price reflects the nature of such a specialty item, acknowledging its unique attributes and the care taken in its production.
Given the "New" condition, buyers can expect a record in flawless, unplayed condition, likely with its original protective packaging. We encourage all prospective buyers to carefully examine the provided photographs to verify the exact "Pearl Wave" colorway, confirm the specific album or tracklist if "The Gold One" refers to an edition rather than an explicit album title, and to see the precise numbering on your copy. This thoughtful approach ensures confidence in acquiring a valued addition to any vinyl collection.
